Repair required removing all of the interior drawers & shelves and the interior back panel. There you will find the defrost heater. Behind the defrost heater is a metal plate as well as one on the back of the front interior cover. Both were corroded and in need of replacement. Ordered replacement clips. The replacements don't come with screws or the caps to cover the screws, so save all the hardware aside from the plastic hinges. You need to order the upper and lower halves of the hinges. First off I unplugged the refrigerator. I removed the meat tray, and the three screws on either side. The screws hold the meat tray drawer guides. I then removed the vegetable drawer, the fruit drawer, and the shelf above the two drawers, these did not have screws. Removed the one screw that held the damper motor housing.
