The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. Removed refrigerator panel, disconnected light and fan power. Removed fan assembly and replaced motor, grommets and fan attachment spring. Unit had adhesive on spring to help hold the spring. Chatted with customer service and clarified that spring and fan would easily pull off motor shaft. Adhesive probably was extra measure used during original build of the fridge. This repair was likely compounded by a second failed component after several unplug attempts. The first failure occurred after the freezer door had been left ajar. Initially called repair man and he checked it out , took about half of the freezer insides out to decide the fan was bad. Then he informed me that he did not have part and was going to be on vacation for a week.
