This power control board is a genuine Samsung part, sold individually. This power control board is a replacement part for a refrigerator. The power control board is located in the back of the refrigerator. The purpose of a power control board is to maintain and manage the refrigerator's compressor. If a refrigerator is not maintaining its temperature properly, the power control board may need to be replaced. This type of board has an LED light that will signal if it is not functioning correctly. If this LED light is going off, the power control board should be removed and replaced with this genuine OEM replacement part. The repair or replacement process for a power control board is simple to perform and will require no specific tools. Took a bit to diagnose. First tried cleaning coils but the problem still persisted. Next took of the back panel and put the system into diag mode. (Press energy save button and fridge button for eight seconds system ding once a second and inverter board red LED will blink a code or be on solid if no issue. Fixes refrigerator not cooling, ice maker not working, or no power after outage. Controls temperature regulation and all functions. Moderate DIY repair.
Replaced the ice maker which behaved the same as the one I replaced. On advice from Appliance Parts Pros (cannot say enough good things about these people) replaced the main computer board. It fixed the problem. It also turned out the original ice maker was never working properly. Instead of cubes, the original ice maker dispersed broke pieces which not only went into your cup but all over the kitchen floor. The new unit makes perfect ice cubes now. The caster-rear is a wheel assembly located at the back bottom of the appliance that allows for easy movement and positioning. Replace if the appliance is difficult to move, the caster is broken or doesn't roll smoothly, or you notice the appliance is uneven.

Not easy to figure out. Removed screws that appeared to hold the motor/fan/bracket in but it didn't budge (??). Watched a You Tube video but the guy's camera work wasn't too clear. I at least gathered that there was a plastic, one-way button/slide lock on the underside of bracket that holds the motor/fan assemby in.. Didn't make sense that once the button was pushed up with a screwdriver, the bracket would slide out (towards you) because there are rigid cooling lines that are in the way. ... Read more
The ice maker quit working and the ice on/off led didn't work. Got the model number of the fridge and went to online chat and they looked up the part for me and told me how to install it. It was a breeze. New display panel fixed the problem and life is good. Read more
Order and received hinges and the parts for the doors that were lost. After plugging it in the open door chimes started and would not stop. I call appliance Parts customer service and tech Dept. They were very patient and helpful with my ordering the parts I needed and tried to get the chimes to stop. The People I talked to were very helpful and patient in trying to fix this problem.
