This power control board is a genuine Samsung part, sold individually. This power control board is a replacement part for a refrigerator. The power control board is located in the back of the refrigerator. The purpose of a power control board is to maintain and manage the refrigerator's compressor. Took a bit to diagnose. First tried cleaning coils but the problem still persisted. Next took of the back panel and put the system into diag mode. (Press energy save button and fridge button for eight seconds system ding once a second and inverter board red LED will blink a code or be on solid if no issue. Checked You Tube for solutions and found many different possible solutions. Then I spoke with a local appliance repair man that was familiar with Samsung problems and he recommended replacing the main assembly board. That is what controls the heater element on the evaporator coil. He also told me that he used, Appliance Parts Pro for parts that he needs and was very satisfied with them. Not easy to figure out. Removed screws that appeared to hold the motor/fan/bracket in but it didn't budge (??). Watched a You Tube video but the guy's camera work wasn't too clear. I at least gathered that there was a plastic, one-way button/slide lock on the underside of bracket that holds the motor/fan assemby in.. Didn't make sense that once the button was pushed up with a screwdriver, the bracket would slide out (towards you) because there are rigid cooling lines that are in the way. ... Read more
Order and received hinges and the parts for the doors that were lost. After plugging it in the open door chimes started and would not stop. I call appliance Parts customer service and tech Dept. They were very patient and helpful with my ordering the parts I needed and tried to get the chimes to stop. The People I talked to were very helpful and patient in trying to fix this problem.
