1. Unplug and let defrost (I had it unplugged for days, not sure if that was necessary). 2. Removed panels inside the back of the fridge (careful not to damage the wires. Removed refrigerator panel, disconnected light and fan power. Removed fan assembly and replaced motor, grommets and fan attachment spring. Unit had adhesive on spring to help hold the spring. Chatted with customer service and clarified that spring and fan would easily pull off motor shaft. Adhesive probably was extra measure used during original build of the fridge.
