Apparently, Samsung thinks it is a good idea to sell this part (It has the samsung logo on it and on the shipping box) minus an essential small rectangle of plastic in which there is a magnet. Without magnet ice-off light will flash and not turn off - and not make ice, since the machine will not detect the new ice bin. Order and received hinges and the parts for the doors that were lost. After plugging it in the open door chimes started and would not stop. I call appliance Parts customer service and tech Dept. Not easy to figure out. Removed screws that appeared to hold the motor/fan/bracket in but it didn't budge (??). Watched a You Tube video but the guy's camera work wasn't too clear. I at least gathered that there was a plastic, one-way button/slide lock on the underside of bracket that holds the motor/fan assemby in.. Didn't make sense that once the button was pushed up with a screwdriver, the bracket would slide out (towards you) because there are rigid cooling lines that are in the way. ... Read more
