Replacement. Please note, the replacement part available only comes in the color black. We needed a grey switch and subsequently, we painted it to match existing. The part does not fit exactly in the opening. The original had square corners, the replacement has rounded corners, Therefore, a very slight opening existed at the corners. (about 1/16"). Tried replacing heating element. This did not solve problem. Called Appliance Parts Pros back for help. Concluded after discussion with technical support that the oven relay board was defective. Ordered board and installed the new board and the oven is now working fine. Installation requires access to back of oven and careful dis-assembly since there are about 15 wire connections. Very easy fix. Remove oven door by just opening it slightly and pulling up. (an easy way to clean it too). Then, with a phillips screw driver, remove two screws holding the damaged element in place. Slowly pull the element toward the front a couple inched to expose the wires. Disconnect the wires (no tools needed), remove the old element and replace it with the new.
