Dishwasher not filling with water? A faulty water inlet valve often causes E17 error codes and no water flow. Most DIYers replace this in under an hour.
I've never repaired an appliance before, but wanted to try to at least diagnose the problem before calling a professional. I started with Google searches to explain why water wasn't going in. First checked the water supply and verified it was OK. The next most likely problem was the inlet valve. I watched a bunch of YouTube videos on how to replace this part, decided I should be able to do it myself, and found that the part was under $30. To test my ability, I removed the existing part &... The Turbidity Sensor is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. It is a component located inside the dishwasher that plays a key role in monitoring water quality during each wash cycle. The turbidity sensor detects small food particles and residue in the water, relaying this information to adjust water temperatures, spray pressures, and cycle times accordingly to achieve optimal cleaning results. Causes of failure could be normal wear and tear over time, mineral buildup affecting the sensor's ability to read water quality accurately, or damage from electrical faults. Symptoms of a bad turbidity sensor include:
This genuine OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and select Kenmore models.
Ordered and replaced sump pump, backflow preventer valve and turbidity sensor on Bosch dishwasher. The latter two parts were recommended when ordering the sump pump and did need replacing. The videos showing how to remove and replace each part are great. The project went well and the dishwasher is fixed for less than 1/4 of what it would cost to get a repairman out here. In all fairness we do live in a remote location and do not have any local appliance repairmen. This is the third project I... Read more

Interior side trim strip for dishwashers. Lines the sides of the tub for a finished look. Replace if cracked, bent, folded, or missing. Easy DIY install.
One of the side trim strips was folded over on itself, which made latching the door difficult. It was an easy fix: used a Torx screwdriver to remove 2 screws on each side, and just replaced it on each side. I also ordered the door gasket and the trim strip at top of the door, while I was at it. Glad I replaced the door gasket: it was wearing down and very, very dirty! Very quick repair. Also, the shipping was incredibly fast, ordered it over a weekend and arrived Monday or Tuesday, very... Read more
Secures internal components and mounting brackets in your dishwasher. Replace if missing, stripped, or lost during installation or cabinet remodeling.
Somehow one of the mounting brackets disappeared after I had the cabinets and counter replaced, but these were a perfect replacement. They don't stick out as wide as the original brackets, but I think these are a better design. Also, the I found the original brackets online, but they were way overpriced, so i was glad to find these. Read more

Symptoms of an issue with the Screws include:
I ordered a new front panel and handle for my dishwasher to coordinate with the new stove and refrigerator. I watched the online video and it looked simple. We received the panel in great shape. We installed it in about 15 minutes. The only problem was the screws for the new handle. We did not realize that the new handle was closer to the door than the old handle so the old screws were too long. My husband went to the hardware store and got shorter screws and it all went together smoothly. Read more
