The Door Latch is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. This latch ensures that the dishwasher door closes securely, allowing the appliance to operate correctly and safely by preventing water leaks and maintaining proper pressure during the wash cycle. The latch mechanism also signals to the control system that the door is securely closed, enabling the dishwasher to start.
Over time, the door latch can wear out or become damaged due to regular use or accidental impact. Common causes of a bad door latch include mechanical failure, wear and tear, or misalignment of the door.

After checking everything (power switch, door lock switch, heater resistance, heater current, NTC resistance, resetting control unit) replaced control unit and dishwasher operates correctly.
