The Impeller Jug is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. Located inside the wash chamber, the impeller jug is responsible for evenly distributing water throughout the dish rack during the wash cycle. It features strategically placed holes and channels that work with the spray arms to direct water flow and ensure all dishes receive thorough coverage.

Causes of failure can be mineral or scale buildup inhibiting water flow, cracked or damaged casing allowing leaks, or worn impeller fins no longer efficiently dispersing water. Over time, hard water deposits and normal use can degrade performance.
This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore dishwashers.
1) Cleaned all sprayer arms. Many of the outlet holes were clogged with small debris (mostly small bits of food and a Jolly Rancher candy wrapper). 2) Removed circulation pump to clean impeller assembly. It was really clogged with stuff (more candy wrapper, shards of glass, a small metal screw). Luckily impeller fins were intact. 3) Re-assembled.
