The Auxiliary Tool is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. This specialized tool is designed to assist with the removal and replacement of the metal nut found on the zeolite container or filter housing.
Proper maintenance such as routinely replacing the zeolite container is important for keeping a Bosch dishwasher operating at peak performance. The zeolite acts as a water softener that reduces water hardness and aids in the cleaning process. Over time, the zeolite container will need replacement as it collects soil and contaminants.
Causes of needing to replace the metal nut can include wear and tear from repeated container changes or damage that prevents the nut from sealing properly.
Symptoms of a bad nut include:
This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and some Kenmore models.
Kept getting water in the water pan of my Bosch 800 dishwasher. Appliance company wanted $1000 to change out an entire pump system. I determined the leak was from this nut and seal. Replaced and no more water! Read more

Secures dishwasher hoses to fittings for a leak-resistant seal. Replace if worn or causing drips. Confirm fit with your model number before ordering.
Leak was slow but becoming gradually worse. Pulled dishwasher out from under counter then visually inspected sump while it ran. As soon as the water got very hot, I could see the sump leaking where it meets the stainless pan. Searched for the correct sump gasket without success. Turns out that the gasket is built into the sump for this model. The built-in gasket is very narrow (under-engineered IMHO which is probably why it developed a leak). Thanks to Simon's excellent videos at... Read more
This inner door panel forms the inside surface of the dishwasher door. It supports key door components and helps seal the tub, keeping water and heat contained for reliable, quiet operation.
AppliancePartsPros exploded views made it easy for me to identify the door and hinge parts that had likely been damaged. Evidently, this happens often enough that they even made a repair video for this exact misfortune. After confirming that the suspected hinge and door parts were indeed damaged, I ordered replacement parts from APP and began fretting about the door being damaged in shipping. Not to worry. Three days later, the parts arrived and the door was packaged in sealed pack foam and... Read more

This is a small roller that mounts on the dish rack track inside a dishwasher, allowing the rack to slide in and out smoothly. It supports the weight of the loaded rack and guides it along the rails. Replace this roller if your dish rack is difficult to pull out, feels wobbly, or if the existing roller is cracked, worn, or missing.
The top and middle racks had broken rollers. Tracks were intact. Went to the website with the Model number. Pulled up drawings. Turns out the rollers are part of assemblies; for the middle rack "Rail-Pull out" left and right (mirror images of each other). Top: "Holder", which is a set of two. Top rack: the Holders just snap on with built-in clips. Easy. about 2 minutes per side. The Middle rack is a little more complicated. There's a spring-loaded clip that you push on, slide the rail... Filters and recirculates water during wash cycles. Replace if you notice poor cleaning, drainage issues, or unusual noises. Verify fit with your model.
Contrary to a great YouTube explaining how to disassemble dishwasher to replace sump, I did not have to completely remove the bottom. I only pulled the bottom frame away from tub at the front enough to snake sump assembly out. I was successful in eliminating sump leak but then the pump/heater connection leaked after reassembling. The dishwasher is 9 years old and the pump port rubber was hardened. I would recommend if the sump is replaced, the pump should also be replaced. Read more
