Washer won't spin or turns inconsistently? The stator assembly creates the magnetic field that drives the drum. Moderate DIY repair, 30-60 minutes.
The drum was hesitating and then not turning at all with an error code. Wife also smelled "something burning", which of course is never a good sign. Ordered a new stator and had my LG washer back up and running 15 minutes after getting the $100 stator via FedEx. This is the third repair on this machine in 8 years, all parts received from APP!!!! No need to go out and drop $1600 for a new front load LG washer!!! Thanks APP!!!! Read more

This tub-to-pump hose connects the washer's outer tub to the drain pump, carrying water out during the drain cycle. Replace it to resolve leaks or drain errors caused by cracks, splits, or internal blockages.
Based on info around the web and your site I chose to replace all of the bellowed hoses (3) in the machine, as I did not know which bellow was leaking without taking the washer apart first. If one hose was old enough to leak I figured the others were not far behind. The appliance parts pros videos were very helpful, although I chose to replace the drum drain bellows via access through the rear panel thereby saving myself the time of disassembling the front of the machine, as was instructed. Restores interior drum lighting for better visibility when loading and unloading laundry. Replace when light fails or dims to clearly see items in tub.
Replaces the front outer tub cover that houses the door boot seal and aligns the spin basket. Order a new cover if yours is cracked or worn from use.
The upper counter-balance weight mount design is a poor design to begin with. It started to rattle loose approximately 5yrs into the 8yrs that we've owned it. As it would start to loosen up (as evidenced by the loud banging noise exhibited during operation); I'd shut it down, pull the top off, remove the weight (it was almost always half rattled off at this point), wrap the mount lugs with friction tape (the plastic lugs were being worn down/chaffed by the balance weight), put the weight back... This is a plastic lifter baffle that mounts inside the dryer drum. It tumbles and lifts clothes as the drum rotates, promoting even airflow and efficient drying. Replace this part if it is cracked, broken, or missing, which can result in clothes bunching together, uneven drying, or loud thumping noises during operation.
Disassembled & found a poorly made spindle (spider) that was broken on each of 3 spokes. Heavy corrosion after 12 years of usage so can't complain. The removal of the spider bolts were difficult due to the seized up bolts causing the nuts in the lifter assemblies to strip & spin inside the plastic housing. Easily removed but now I had to order new lifters delaying the repair. The drum wore a groove inside the tub housing that almost cut it in half. I was able to clean up the grooves & fill by... Replace fill sensor. Since I was there I also replaced hot & cold water relay/valves since they were the same age. Working fine now. Read more
Replacement wire harness for washers. Restores electrical connections between components when original wiring is damaged, frayed, or corroded. Direct fit.
I initially replaced the rotator sensor located on the stator assembly. That didn’t fix the problem. So I ordered the stator assembly and the wire harness. After replacing both parts, the washer works great. Not sure if it was the stator or the harness but felt I would leave it as is to prevent any future problems that may occur with old parts. Thanks to appliance part pros for the videos and quick delivery of parts. Read more
Pivot hanger assembly that supports and stabilizes washer components. Replace if worn, damaged, or causing misalignment to restore smooth movement.
I ordered both the hot and cold water inlet valves because I wasn't sure which one may have been faulty. I installed them exactly the way the on line video showed, tested them and reinstalled the top of the washer. Checked several days and have found no sign of water. This was such an easy fix!
