This is the blower motor used in the downdraft ventilation system of a range. It powers the fan that draws smoke, steam, and cooking odors down and away from the cooktop surface. Replace this motor if the downdraft vent makes unusual noises, vibrates excessively, runs intermittently, or fails to turn on at all.

Oven won't heat or stops heating during cleaning cycle? The high-limit safety switch cuts power when temperatures exceed safe limits. Moderate DIY fix.
Started with checking temp control in the oven. Worked fine. Next was testing high limiter switch. Every place stated switch was on the back panel, found mine place under the right burner cartridge. Took some finagling to expose it. Bought a new one, two wires to disconnect along with two small screws to secure switch, slapped it in and I was in business. Oven that was out of commission for over two weeks (never buy a part from Sears, always deal with APP's!) was on the road again! Read more
Black range knob kit includes 4 knobs. Replaces cracked, broken, worn, or missing control knobs on your cooktop. Direct fit for select range models.
Great web site. Easy to find part required. Great price. Video on how to install was too generic to be helpful but found good videos on YouTube. Used the 800 number and talked to a technician. He was terrific. Accurate in his assessment, encouraging and delivered. Local appliance repair guy wanted $550 to do the job and couldn't get here for two weeks. I did it for the cost of the board which was $300. Read more

Factory-style mounting screw secures panels, brackets, and trim to your appliance frame. Replaces worn, stripped, or missing screws for proper fit.
This is a small micro-switch used in the grill module fan circuit of a range. It detects the position or state of the fan assembly and signals the control board to activate or deactivate the fan as needed. Replace this switch if the grill fan fails to turn on or off properly, or if the switch is visibly damaged or no longer clicks when actuated.
This is a metal mounting bracket designed to secure the blower motor in place within a range or cooktop downdraft system. It provides stable support so the motor operates without excess vibration or noise. Replace this bracket if it is bent, cracked, or if the motor rattles or shifts out of position during use.
I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more
Replacement mounting nut for securing appliance components. Needed when original hardware is stripped, corroded, or missing during repairs or reassembly.
This is a small glass jar that attaches to the underside of a range vent hood to collect grease and cooking residue filtered from the air during use. It threads or clips into a designated opening on the hood's grease collection system. Replace this jar if it is cracked, chipped, missing, or if the threading is damaged and it no longer seats securely, which can cause grease to drip onto the cooktop below.
Fastener nut for securing appliance components and panels. Replace if stripped, corroded, or missing to restore proper assembly and stability.
