This was a very easy fix. Two screws to get the front off of the washer. Removed one side of the tensioner spring. Loosened two screws for the motor and two screws for the pump. I decided to replace the agitate belt even though it wasn't broken.. So, I removed that belt from the pulleys and the removed the broken belt. then just reversed the process to install the belts. it toke me less than 30 minutes and my washer was back in service. The cylinder roller that supports the dryer drum was worn and needed to be replaced. I ordered the idler pulley shaft and associated parts as well since I wasn't sure if these were worn too. Watching the video on the web site gave me a good idea what was involved and where to look. It wasn't my exact model and make but provided sufficient information on what to look for. The parts were exact fits which was a great relief abd the dryer is running like new again! Read more

Weekend laundry became very noisy, our 1987 Whirlpool washer began doing a dance across the floor and the drum was banging into the inner cabinet. After doing some research and watching a few videos on Appliance parts pros website. I inspected the washer and noticed one leg the rubber coating disintegrated, decided to change all four legs, springs and lid switch. Hardest part of the job is getting the cabinet together. Replaced it with the video listed..Maytag Atlantis dryer was not heating. Checked all components inside dryer, thermostat, coils, etc. All check out ok ......last thing I checked was the terminal. In all the years I've owned this dryer it's only needed 1 igniter till now, one cylinder roller failed, I considered buying a new dryer but after reading of all the complaints about all these new dryers I decided to fix my old one. After watching the repair video I opened up the dryer without any problems and found that the belt tension pully bearing failed and the mount arm had an excessive amount play in it. So armed with the part numbers I found here I went down to the local parts store and found that they did not stock the parts but could get them in a week.
