The ice dispenser door was not closing tightly. As a result, there was frost build up in the ice chute, which also was allowing ambient air and temperature into the freezer compartment. Upon further inspection, there was black “schmutz” on the ice door, and the rubber ice funnel and deflector parts were deteriorating. Includes ice auger blade. For blade separately use WR2X7783. Please note Due to manufacturer changes they no longer make the auger as shown (helix coil approx 7 1/2") in the photo. The replacement helix coil is now approx. 5". If you have the original as shown in the photo you must order the complete auger/bucket assembly.

I took the ice bucket out and saw the Plate and the Auger were rusted out I thought about cleaning it but I figured that the rust prevent coating was probability all gone I've had this refrigerator since 98 , so I figured the best way was to buy the replacement parts . the price was pretty good so I went that route , the taking apart was very easy , its the putting back together that takes time , however I took a video of the bucket before I took it apart and the on-line video that...
