First I ordered a new ice door seal, spring, and crank, figuring the condensation in freezer and door was caused by ice door not sealing. Turns out the solenoid for the ice door was completely rusted and was the primary cause, if it had been replaced early, it would have saved the dispenser board. What then happened was the moisture in the freezer door damaged the control board rendering dispenser controls inoperative as well as the heater around the dispenser. I replaced the door stop. Fortunately, I did NOT follow the advice on your Questions and Answers discussion and remove the door to do this: "You will need to remove the door hinge cover and hinge from the top of the door. Then lift and remove the door from the refrigerator. Lay the door on a soft surface and remove the screws holding the door stop WR2X9302 in place. Reinstall in reverse order." The two screws are fairly easy to remove with a socket wrench with the door in place. Read more

I took off the cover on the back of the fridge. Then took the small cover off the side of the compressor. Pulled off the relay and shook it and you could hear parts rattling inside. Ordered a repalcement and it's been working since. Read more
