This is in a 15 year old Built-in Monogram that had the compressor replaced a few years ago. Before discovering the motor failure I replaced the main board since a Refrigeration Contractor I know said that if it wasn't bad it would be soon since those parts typically only last around eight years. It was fairly simple. The blade just slides onto the post of the condenser. Thanks to Appliance Pros, we should not have this problem again. We were offered to buy a special 28" long brush made to clean the refrigerator coils, and it works great! :) Read more

Found that piece of auger was broken up front. Ordered auger and several other parts associated with ice maker just to be sure. Also replaced condenser motor which was making noise. Read more

First I ordered a new ice door seal, spring, and crank, figuring the condensation in freezer and door was caused by ice door not sealing. Turns out the solenoid for the ice door was completely rusted and was the primary cause, if it had been replaced early, it would have saved the dispenser board. What then happened was the moisture in the freezer door damaged the control board rendering dispenser controls inoperative as well as the heater around the dispenser. I took off the cover on the back of the fridge. Then took the small cover off the side of the compressor. Pulled off the relay and shook it and you could hear parts rattling inside. Ordered a repalcement and it's been working since. Read more
