This is a screw intended for use in refrigerators, specifically as the top mounting screw for the handle. If the screw in the handle is missing, stripped, or otherwise not performing its function, a replacement screw should be ordered.A visual inspection will determine if a screw is missing. If the door handle is loose or falling off from the top, it is a sign that a replacement screw is required. This repair is a quick and easy process. It involves the use of a screwdriver. Remove the old screw if there is one in place. Line up the holes on the door and the door handle component before twisting the new screw into position. Wear gloves to protect hands during the repair.This screw is a genuine OEM replacement part. It is sourced directly from the manufacturer. The screw is sold individually. This was a very easy repair. I watched the video from Appliance Parts Pro and then followed the same steps. I took my time and the only issue was that I had to flip the handles from the first installation so that the trim would fit better. When the adapter arrived, I wasn't sure it was the right one as it looked completely different.
