After some research I discovered the design change Samsung did 3 months after my model was manufactured. Instead of spending $110 on the "redesigned" part I took a good look at it and determined I could disregard the current mounting bracket and order 3 parts to make the conversion with my existing pump, which is working just fine. I determined that one of the cold water valves was not working so I replaced the assembly with this part. Even though it has the exact same part number it is not constructed the same. Changed all 4 damper rods that support the tub. Can't tell by just looking at them if there bad. Took them off and replaced them 1 at a time. Very easy to do. Was not sure if this was going to fix the error code or not but I haven't had a problem since. Read more

Difficult job. Required the complete washer to be taken apart.. With the help of your videos and youtubes was able to get through it. Cleaned everything inside and out. Attached the flange shaft assembly to the inner stainless steel tub via the spider bolts and basically worked backwards from the disassembly. Took a long time total of about eight hours for the whole process not including the cleaning. But it saved me about $600 dollars. Read more

This small spring clip or fixer secures the top cover panel to the washer cabinet. It snaps into place to hold the top panel firmly aligned and prevent rattling during operation. I ordered a temp sensor and replaced it, but the code returned. After reading the post, on appliancepartspros, that were associated with the Samsung temperature sensor, a good percentage of them suggested looking at the yellow and orange temp sensor wires. Sure enough, the yello wire was broken about a foot (of wire run) from the temp sensor. I spliced in new wires, and the problem was fixed! Read more

Replaced the suspension rods and balance ring. Suspension rods were fairly easy and may have solved it. But went ahead and did the ring. What was not obvious and planned for is the tub has to come out and the old ring separated from it. It is a part that was put together in a factory with a press. I used a reciprocating saw to cut a wedge out of the old ring. Then unfolded the crimped rim around the top of the tub and cut it off with tin snips. Read more
