This tub-bearing split ring is an OEM replacement part designed for GE washing machines. This part measures 2 inches in diameter. It is positioned between the inner and outer tubs to hold the tub bearing inside the outer tub. The Tub Bearing Split Ring not only supports the tub/hub assembly but also ensures smooth operation.

Outer tub cover that snaps over the washer's outer tub assembly. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing to restore proper clearance and protection.
I had to remove the front panel of the washing machine and top of the washing machine. i started by removing all the top screws as shown in one of videos. disconnected all the electrical wires (i have a commercial washer) and lifted the front panel over the back of the machine. i was then able to remove the top of the washing machine to give me access to the tub straps and the corresponding screws. i removed the broken straps and then was able to remove the tub cover by pushing down it down... I ordered the motor, and followed the instructions. Splicing the included wire and taking out the fuse. Washer works fine now. I didn't have the installation tool, but I used a socket that fit over the bottom of the motor shaft and put the belt on. Read more
Harness to corset & shifter
Ordered water inlet solinoid valve and water temperature probe sensor. Items arrived in a few days. Appliance Parts Pros on-line video was extremely helpful for replacing inlet valve. It only took 20 minutes. Recommend replacing temp. sensor probe while old valve is out before mounting new valve. Only 2 screws-Easy. Entire job took about an hour start to finish. Saved at least $150 doing it myself over repairman and saved $750 over replacing the washer. Happy wife, happy life! Read more
