Watched a whole bunch of YouTube videos to replace the tub bearings. Completely disassembled the washing machine. Found that water leaked past the rear tub gasket causing the inner tube bearing to corrode. Replaced both bearings and tub gasket. In fact, days later after reading the owners manual more closely I found an area that showed the indication of a lock to indicate that the child lock had been set. It was a super easy fix. I removed old washer lid, placed new one on and aligned and pushed plastic screws that look like molly's through the hinges. No more than 10 mins max. Don't spend the money on a repair person. It's easier than making dinner. Read more
