Kit contains total of 8 screws. Approximate size - (Qty.4) #10-32 x 7/16" and (Qty.4) #10-24 x 7/16".
The dryer heater box houses and protects the heating element assembly in electric dryers. It provides a secure enclosure for the heating coils and thermal components that generate hot air for drying clothes. Drying clothes. found dry clothes and dryer off. put in next load. when press start, F-01 error. unplugged dryer and flipped breaker. waited half hour. plugged back in and turned breaker on. nothing doing. same F-01 error. unplugged dryer again. moved dryer out and checked the exhaust port for blockage. clean. left unplugged and unscrewed bottom panel to get manual. reconnected exhaust and power cord. did diagnostic per manual to rule out other faults/errors as this electronic control board is... Isolated door switch and tested switch through harness wires. Continuity found with both switch depressed and pressed on same wires. Ordered switch Wednesday night and it arrived the following Tuesday to east coast home. Read more
