Dryer not drying or making loud noise? A loose or damaged blower pulley stops airflow. Use thread locker during install. 45-minute DIY repair.
Replaced the blower pulley. When the pulley spins off the blower shaft, it will damage the threads so it is important to replace the pulley and I would recommend using Loctite thread locker to keep the new pulley from spinning off. The threads on the blower shaft will most likely get damaged as well and I would recommend replacing the blower shaft. I did not order the blower shaft because it does not show up on a diagram and I had to go purchase a die to chase the threads before the new pulley... Read more

4-wire power cord connects your electric dryer to a 4-prong household outlet. Replace a worn, damaged, or overheated cord to restore safe power connection.
I previously ordered the heating element, thermostat, and fuse. Also the rear drum rollers. However, after completing that repair I noticed that the terminal block and power cord had some damage from an apparent overheating while allowing the dryer to continue to run in order to dry the clothes. All is well now and the unit is working just fine. I appreciate the quick delivery of all 3 orders. Read more

Fix slow drying or no airflow in your dryer by replacing a stripped or cracked blower wheel. Moderate DIY repair restores proper air circulation.
I replaced the heating element and all of the thermal/high cutoff fuses and thermistors even though only the heating element tested "open" (there was a crack in the element) just to be safe. Also for the "jet airplane" sound the fan housing bearing was bad. I replaced that a well. Now it works like it should and is quiet again! However, I broke the fan blad removing it for the reinstall on the new fan housing but I ordered it at 6 at night and had it the next morning. Amazing and thank... Read more

Secures washer door handles to the outer panel. Replace if stripped, missing, or damaged to restore a tight handle fit and prevent loosening.
The plastic piece on the handle where the screw goes in to hold glass door up had broke. I ordered new handle, the retainer pieces that go over the plastic pieces to lock it all in and screws that were suggested. The screws were the wrong ones. They were way too small. I already had one screw and thankfully only had to buy 1 new one because the screw was $40 and shipping’s $10 for it AND it’s on back order right now. The old retainer ring that goes over plastic piece was a nightmare to remove... Read more

Relocates your dryer's exhaust vent from rear to left, right, or bottom. Includes elbows, duct, and instructions. Replace when changing installation.
Used the Wpl. Vent Kit, 4-way. This is not a quick, easy job. You have to disassemble the dryer, removing the entire front, door, drum, and control panel. Take your time and take pictures as you go so you can get it all back together again after installing the conversion kit. It will take you at least an hour, and you need room to work. Also, remember that after converting the dryer over to left or right vent, you now have a wider dryer with the ducting sticking out the side. (4") Make sure it... Read more
