Replacement flip-up door that covers the lint screen opening in your dryer's front bulkhead. Needed when original door is cracked, broken, or missing.
There is no good diagram explaining how exactly these fit in. I had to do trial and error. The parts are quite delicate so I actually broke one trying to get it in. I would recommend ordering an extra or two. These need springs tonfit correctly. Luckily I saved the old ones...if you don't have them, it won't work. Unscrew the two screws on outside and two inside. You don't have to take whole thing out, just loosen. Look carefully and you can see the two little holes in the plastic where... Read more

I previously ordered the heating element, thermostat, and fuse. Also the rear drum rollers. However, after completing that repair I noticed that the terminal block and power cord had some damage from an apparent overheating while allowing the dryer to continue to run in order to dry the clothes. My son and I took the back panel off the dryer and found that the dryer was full of lint. It was very dirty and probably explains why the dryer had no been working as well. We cleaned the dryer out, took off the old air duct assembly and replaced it with the new one. We also replaced the old dryer hose while we had it pulled out. The repair was very easy, simply a matter of unscrewing screws and then reattaching them. Based on how dirty the dryer was it is probably a good idea to check the... Read more

Open dryer door. Remove four Phillip head screws that hold lint assembly together. Two inside and two on the outside. There is also a hex head screw behind the front panel. To get at it I removed the four hex heads at bottom of front panel and four star head screws on left side of front panel. I was able to get at it by pulling the front panel out as much as possible and and reaching from the side with small quarter inch socket. Remove lint assembly, vacuum out everything and replace with new... Read more
