The Cold Water Inlet Valve is an OEM part for Bosch washing machines. It is designed to regulate the flow of cold water into the washing machine during the wash cycle. This valve operates based on signals from the washing machine's control board, ensuring the right amount of cold water is provided.
Causes of a faulty cold water inlet valve can include wear and tear over time, clogs or blockages in the valve, electrical issues, or valve failure.
Symptoms of a bad cold water inlet valve may include:
- Insufficient or no cold water flow into the washing machine
- Leaking or dripping water from the valve during the wash cycle
- Inconsistent or inadequate water supply for washing clothes
- Error codes related to water supply or filling
This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore models.
Note: For the Hot Water Valve, order part number 00422245.
