I went to your web site found the part using the model number of the washer machine. Also with the part picture, there was a video showing step by step instructions. I replaced it with a new seal/gasket and insert cover using the video repair clip as a guide from “appliancepartspros.com”. The repair took about 45 minutes using common tools like Phillip and Straight Slot Screw Drivers. A little muscle is required to clip the seal ring because it is spring tensioned. The washer now looks brand new even it is already 13 years old. Shout out to appliance parts pros.com... you save me big bucks and less junk to the landfill. Read more

The upper counter-balance weight mount design is a poor design to begin with. It started to rattle loose approximately 5yrs into the 8yrs that we've owned it. As it would start to loosen up (as evidenced by the loud banging noise exhibited during operation); I'd shut it down, pull the top off, remove the weight (it was almost always half rattled off at this point), wrap the mount lugs with friction tape (the plastic lugs were being worn down/chaffed by the balance weight), put the weight back... First we called for "professional" help. Those guys took $60 of our money and said, "Get a new one, it'll be cheaper than having us fix it." Then I found this site and videos and saw that other people had the same problem I had, common for LG washers after about 7 years, when the bearings fail. But I saw another user recommended getting a new rear outer tub assembly to save time and the... Read more
