Easy! Ordered a new one and it went in with one screw. More importantly, Appliance Parts Pros are incredibly friendly, had the part in stock, shockingly reasonable shipping costs. I paid for 2 day air and received overnight. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Read more
I first tried different things to fix the problem. The problem persisted so I had to figure out what was the real problem. I went to AppliancePartsPros web site, I had ordered from them before, and ordered the part. By the way, it was easy to find with the model number of the washer. I watched the video a few times, to learn how, it was my first time. The video was very helpful. I replaced it with little complications. The one thing I really learned was that you really need an impact hammer... Read more
The GE Model G-157 is probably over twenty years old. Local appliance store couldn't find a match, but your site came close and I chose the ordered drain hose by appearance. A minor adjustment to the hose with a two inch galvanized electoral pipe and using a cut-off end with three hose clamps, it works. Ran five loads and its during the six right now. The hose isn't the hard plastic, as the replaced, so the need for the end piece to allow a clamping point to the outside discharge hose. I... Read more
I had to repair a previous "appliance repairman" fix. They obviously didn't order thier parts from AppliancePartPros.com. They had radiator hose clamps tightening down the hoses on the wrong size pump inlet and outlet. So THANKS to AppliancePartsPros.com I am no longer in the dog house! I ordered parts on Thursday at 12 and were at my door Saturday by 3! Read more

Pulsator Asm was stripped in the center....once I realized the problem, ordered the part and replacement screw. I did not realize that the screw came with the Pulsator part, so I did not need to order it. Fix is simple; less that 5 minutes. remove cap with a screwdriver by prying it off, remove screw and Pulsator, replace, tighten replace cap. Boom, new washer. Read more
This control panel assembly replaces a damaged or worn right-side console section to restore button access and the front-facing control surface. It provides the visible panel and button openings so controls operate and look correct. What it does:
We ordered the part from appliance parts pro. We DID NOT have to remove the panels of the machine nor take out the tub. We simply laid it it on it's side (not the back because of the panel on the back/top portion of the washer). We had to remove one nut....though it was hard, we used a hammer to nudge it. I believe there was three other screws that had to get removed. The key is to remember exactly how the original/ broken coupling was positioned and insert the new coupling the SAME way. Read more
Tried jumping out the switch and eliminating it from the circuit. The GE Harmony washer is smarter than I am and it knew something wasn't right and forced me to make the repair. Checked my local parts house who wanted more money for the switch and more time to get it than Appliance Parts Pros. Ordered it from Appliance Parts Pros, got it as scheduled priced as expected. Installed the switch and amazingly, it works!! Read more
