The grill vent is only held in place by two screws. Super simple fix. Remove the two screws and the old grill vent, position the new vent and put the two screws back in. Replacing the cord required that cabinet to be removed. Lots of screws on the back, top and bottom. Once the screws were removed, the cabinet pulled back. The power cord connections were then clearly visible. Undid the two wire connectors and unscrewed the ground wire from the body to remove the old power cable. Installed the... Read more
This is a replacement screw designed to work with a wide range of household appliances. It is used for many purposes in these appliances, from holding body panels together to securing electronics into control boards. However, screws are subject to damage through corrosion, impact, and improper installation/removal. In most cases, the primary damage to this screw is through corrosion – it may become rusted or corroded in place, depending on the appliance and the maintenance provided during its lifespan. The screw may also be stripped or rounded due to improper removal or installation. If the screw is damaged, lost, or corroded in place, it will need to be replaced. In most cases, removal will require nothing more than a Phillips head screwdriver or the appropriately sized socket with a ratchet. However, if the screw is damaged, it may require a tap set to remove it from its mounting location. Note that this is a genuine OEM replacement screw made from durable, high-quality metal, and is sold individually. It fits Whirlpool, Maytag, Roper, Estate, Amana, Crosley, and Thermador appliances. It is used in over 150 machines, ranging from washers and dryers to air conditioners.

Collects defrost water from the evaporator and directs it to the drain. Replace if cracked, broken, or leaking to prevent water pooling under your fridge.
I took all the food out of the fridge, and tilted the refrigerator 30degrees to the left (if looking straight at the fridge). I unscrewed the cardboard backing, and moved the drip tube from the drain pan. I unscrewed the 4 screws for the drain pan, and the 2 hex screws holding up the metal plate on the left side (becuase there is a lip on the metal plate that holds the pan in). Then I could slightly pull down on the metal plate and pull the drain pan out. Then popped the new drain pan in. Read more
Refrigerator not cooling or freezer icing up? A faulty compressor may be the cause. This part is the heart of your cooling system, requiring expertise.
Channels defrost water from the drain outlet to the pan. Replace if cracked, disconnected, or clogged to prevent water pooling inside or leaking onto floor.
I went in through the lower back of my Whirlpool bottom-freezer refrigerator, found a duck-bill end on the existing drain tube, and removed it. Less than a cup of water was released into the evaporator pan. I didn't need the drain tube I bought - and replacing it would have involved getting into the interior wall inside the freezer, which would have been a LOT more work. Most of my time was spent unloading the refrigerator and freezer before turning off the power. At least this gave me a... Read more
This orifice is a small precision component used in the refrigerator's cooling system to regulate refrigerant or gas flow. It is typically located near the evaporator or cooling circuit and helps control the rate at which refrigerant enters the evaporator coil. Replace this part if the refrigerator or freezer section is not cooling properly, frost patterns are uneven, or a technician has identified a restricted or damaged orifice during diagnosis.
Secures the roller pin in refrigerator drawer and track assemblies. Replace if missing, bent, or broken to prevent bins from tilting, binding, or dropping.
Watched the repair video which was posted with the part. The clip was a little hard to get on because it needs to be tight on the pin, but I was finally able to push it in place. It was a quick fix and now the refrigerator is level. Read more
