This is a mounting support bracket that holds the fresh food compartment fan motor in place inside the refrigerator. The fan circulates cold air throughout the fresh food section to maintain even temperatures. Replace this support if the fan motor is loose, vibrating excessively, or making rattling noises due to a cracked or broken bracket.
Checked and found the evaporator frozen causing the fan to stop working. Took the interior panels off and applied a blow dryer to the ice, once the ice melted I cut the tabs on the grommet holding the fan since everything is thin plastic and replaced the grommet and fan. Placed everything back and found no further issues.
