Fridge not cooling but freezer works? A worn evaporator fan blade prevents cold air circulation. Easy 15-minute DIY fix with our video guide.
I read some diagnostic suggestions provided by Appliance Parts Pros and determined fan needed replacing. I got the fan in two days! I used regular shipping and APP delivered on time. My story is that I live in the country and no one returned my calls for repair - so I figured I could get this done. I watched the online video on APP website. In addition to new parts, also added a 12 gauge copper wire hook that hangs from defrost heater into the defrost drain. I purchased replacement parts to completely replace basket, face plate, and rollers. I received exactly what I ordered. The only problem I had was removing the part(s) from the shipping box. I thought the part came assembled (as rollers had been installed onto the basket), but the face plate had not been snapped into place.
