This tub-bearing split ring is an OEM replacement part designed for GE washing machines. This part measures 2 inches in diameter. It is positioned between the inner and outer tubs to hold the tub bearing inside the outer tub. The Tub Bearing Split Ring not only supports the tub/hub assembly but also ensures smooth operation.

Called repair man, told him it was making noise and not spinning. he told me that it was a GE and that i should put in on the curb. Opened the washer up myself and found a broken clip. Water would continue to fill the machine even when the washer was unplugged. Had it stopped filling when the electrical was disconnected, the problem might have pointed to the pressure switch that determines water level but that was not the case. I replaced the "pressure switch" and was back in business. The other thing I did was clean the tube that went to the bottom of the tub. That might have been the issue since there was considerable resistance When I blew into it . After it cleared, I put s mall amount of bleach down the line then rinsed it and dried it and hooked back up, All is well! This is a GE control board assembly for washing machines. The washer's main control board assembly is the housing for the main controls and the control board. The washer's control board regulates the cycles on a washer. If the washer's main spin and draining functions have quit working, the problem may be remedied by installing a new control board assembly.
