The air damper monogram kit is used in refrigerators that include freezers. The main purpose of this component is to balance the way air flows when it leaves the evaporator fan housing. The device will often control how much cold air is moved into the fresh air compartment. It can also be used to move cold air from the refrigerator into the freezer. If this part is damaged, cold air may not go where it should and some parts of the refrigerator may become too warm.If this part is damaged or not working, it should be replaced. Disconnect the refrigerator from power and open the door to find the air damper monogram. It is located where the cold air enters the fresh food area. Access the housing and inspect it for damage. It can be removed to get to the damper components. Check the sensing bulb for issues before removal. Install all parts of the kit or only the ones that are damaged before reassembling the appliance. This is a genuine OEM air damper monogram kit for use with General Electric refrigerators. It is priced individually and sourced straight from the manufacturer.

This refrigerator water line is the plastic tubing that routes pressurized water through the appliance's water system. Replacing a cracked, brittle, or kinked line helps restore proper water flow and prevents leaks inside or around the unit.
I replace the water inlet valve in my refrigerator about 8 months ago. About a week ago, the old plastic water line broke. I forgot how the water line connector worked and broke the valve trying to pull it out. I got a new valve and replacement water line, and it went in easily, just like the video said. Morals of the story: 1. Know how to remove the old plastic water line. I could have saved myself the price of a new valve if I'd remembered how the connector worked. Unless you have a really... This fan-mount grommet fits the evaporator or condenser fan assembly to isolate vibration and keep the motor aligned. Replacing a worn grommet can quiet rattles and prevent the fan blade from rubbing the housing. What it does:
Condenser fan stopped on my big 2003 Monogram 4 foot wide ZIS480D Refrigerator. It is top mounted. The fridge had to be rolled out. 20 screws removed and the top sheet metal to get at the condenser. That was the only way to get at it. Works like new now. Read more
An evaporator fan blade mounts on the evaporator fan motor to move cold air across the coils and throughout the refrigerator compartments. Replacing a cracked, warped, or loose blade restores proper airflow, temperature balance, and quiet operation.
This refrigerator lamp socket holds an E12-base appliance bulb and provides the electrical connection for the light fixture. Replace it when the light won't turn on or flickers despite a known-good bulb and functioning door switch.
When diagnosing the problem, I discovered that the ice door was not properly sealing and that the solenoid had appeared to rust/corrode forcing the door open. I replaced most of the ice dispenser internals (solenoid, crank, door, and spring) following the video. The door will now open when dispensing ice (which it does!), and will oddly stay open for a few seconds once I am finished, but does seal properly and the chute/container no longer frosts over. This replacement motor powers the dispenser's auger/crusher mechanism to move ice from the bucket to the chute. Replacing a weak or seized motor helps restore reliable cube or crushed-ice dispensing from the freezer door.
I watched the help videos first, then ordered the parts, and installed all items as in the video. Read more
This refrigerator dispenser funnel extension attaches at the front of the dispenser to better direct the stream into your cup. Replacing a cracked or missing extension reduces splashing and helps keep the dispenser area cleaner.
I ordered the ice door assembly and a door recess spring and while I was working on that particular area the ice chute funnel that kept falling off on one side. It was all very easy, took maybe 15 mins in all. I watched the "how to" video that was posted and it was extremely helpful, giving me to confidence to do this myself. The only thing I might do different another time would be to take a look at the assembly before ordering parts. I didn't as I didn't want to keep opening the area up... Read more

This fan and pre-wired harness assembly drives airflow to the Quick Chill/CustomCool drawer so foods and beverages chill faster and hold the set temperature. Replace a noisy, non-running, or intermittent fan to restore proper drawer cooling.
I replaced the fan and heater element. The replacement was not an exact match. I had to adjust the parts to get the harness to fit the plug was not the correct size. I cut it off and used the existing plug. Not a big deal and everything else fit. Pretty good for a twenty year old replacement. Also the heater element was a different shape but it fit as is. This halogen light bulb installs in the refrigerator's vertical light column to restore bright, even interior illumination. Replace a failed bulb to keep shelves and drawers clearly visible whenever you open the door. What it does:
This is a GE refrigerator defrost heater assembly. The defrost heater assembly is the component responsible for defrosting the freezer compartment. If the refrigerator has been having trouble defrosting or making loud noises when the defrost heater turns on, this part could need a replacement. When this part malfunctions there could be a noticeable increase in ice building up in the freezer compartment. This situation should be fixed quickly because the increasing ice could damage other parts. Start any repairs by unplugging the refrigerator first. Take all the shelves out of the freezer and remove the freezer light shield. Unthread the two screws securing the rear freezer panel inside of the freezer. Detach the clip and remove the panel. The defrost heater should be accessible at this point. This part is located near the bottom of the freezer. Unthread the screws holding it in place and disconnect it from its wiring. Repeat these steps in reverse to install the new appliance. This is a genuine OEM replacement product sourced directly from GE. This heater assembly is only available individually and is not included with other parts.
