Replaced transmission and support assembly. Hub nut corrode on support, spanner wrench would not loosen. Had to use 1 11/16 deep socket and impact wrench to remove, basket would not com off support even after cleaning out and soaking with penetrant and using automotive air hammer to push out. I had to cut support plate in half with die grinder, cut bearing from shaft and punch out agitator shaft then use die grinder with carbide burr to cut basket shaft in two before basket would come off... This Frigidaire model requires power to be disconnected before servicing. Power is going to the elements at all times and the control switches close to the ground side. removed the back panel to have access to the wiring of the element. Disconnect the two wires to the broil element and then opened the oven door and removed the screws holding the element in place. Installed new element and support rods and hooked wiring back to the element. Installed back on the stove and done. My wife was happy... Read more

Ordered tracks and adjusters via chat. Adjusters were not needed so I returned them. The repair was very easy. Had to slide out the dishwasher and remove four screws holding each track. Installed new tracks and put dishwasher back in place. Read more

As described, thanks your helped repair what the repairman would not or could not do.. Bottom element shorted and burned up from previous homeowner, not sure why or how? Replaced both heating elements, still no heat, the clock controller was also damaged due to the shorting even though it appeared to work OK, just no heat. Replaced clock/controller , both elements and the temp sensor .ALL WORKING !!! Lots of scrubbing and now have a "new" oven.! Half the cost of the serviceman, Saved my oven... Read more
