Interlock Switch Parts

Turn the power off to the range. Pull off the black control knob. Remove 6 - 5/16 screws in back of the range behind the controls panel. Take out 2 screws (behind the control knob) in front that hold the control swirch in the panel. Remove each wire from the old switch and place it onto the new switch (one at a time)so get the wires are installed in the correct place. Make sure the wire are tight on the new switch. I replaced both the element and the switch. It was a relatively easy fix, although I needed a second set of hands to hold the stovetop upright while I did the replacement. The entire job took about 45-60 minutes. Read more

Replaced infinite switch on large burners and just went ahead and replaced the infinite switch on the small burners while I had it apart and installed all new surface elements as well...parts were shipped the next day and I received them within 2 days... Read more

Checked on AppliancePartsPros and found the parts, once I received the parts I pulled the outer cover of the microwave and replaced the three switches. For the price of the three switches it was cheaper to install all new. Total repair time, 15 minutes. Microwaves back up and running. Very easy fix. Read more

• Won't start

The parts are under the stovetop and the knobs are attached to them. We bought the correct ones from AppliancePartsPros, these were the correct ones. Seems we have an oddball stovetop. It's a GE drop in stove. The parts were easy to change. It was a simple matter of putting the wires on the new switch in the same place there were on the switch. Take the cover off back. Pull two-wire plugs off back of switch (remember how they go back on). Pop switch out from back through the front with a screwdriver from underneath switch by pushing up on the retainer clip. Push the new switch into the hole, plug wires back in, put the cover on, finished. Read more

Ordered a new switch (4456027) from you. You seemed to have the best price and guaranteed that it was a OEM part -not everybody did. I had repaired Jenn Air cook tops before so I thought this was not a problem. Wrong. Mostly it was my own stupidity. I exchanged the wires from the old switch to the new one at a time but did write down where the original wires went. Flipped the breakers back on. Only one heater got hot.
