Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You 2 oven flashes and 2 heating flashes dont remember the exact code number   Jason D. • Gorham , ME • October 27, 2015

Not having any local Thermador support I took the advise from KC on the repair forum. The repair consisted of removing and replacing the control and relay board. The hardest part of the job was working behind the stove while it was pulled from the wall. ( didn't want to scratch my floor ). Over all the repair was simple just pulling wires from old board and installing on new board. The directions sent with the parts are excellent and easy for anyone to follow. I am glad I found this site... I... Read more

Oven won't heat or ignitor doesn't glow? A failed control board prevents baking and broiling. This replacement restores temperature control and operation.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You F8 error code on oven after a power surge   Rae R. • Moretown , VT • June 28, 2026

Very easily!! Although the stove in the video was a different setup then ours , it worked. We took the face of the stove off, took out the 9 screws holding it on. Checked the wire attachments against the new unit and plugged in in. The only thing I wished I'd known, the actual face( with the words oven etc.on it) needed to be peeled from the original unit. It came off pretty good and is usable but would have been nice to have a new one. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You No clock or temperature display on my jennair wall oven   Barbara B. • Leawood , KS • December 07, 2014

This couldn't have been simpler! Removed the glass panel by taking out 4 screws on the bottom that were accessed by opening the oven door. Lifted up, then pulled the panel forward, released one electrical connection, and the panel was disconnected and could be laid on a flat surface. Unscrewed the four nut screws on the old control board with a socket set (you could use a small wrench, but it would be tedious), un-clipped the wide ribbon connection ( had to pry it off very gently to avoid... Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Humming/grinding noise during wash cycle   Dan S. • Turlock , CA • February 21, 2017

I initially just removed the spray arm and top cover of pump assembly inside the bottom of the washer. Removed match sticks, broken glass bits, a small metal ball, broken plastic fork. Thought problem would be solved, but no,and was disappointed the sound remained after reassembly and a test wash cycle. That basically left the circulation pump. I decided to order the pump and motor assembly together because it was cheaper than the pump alone --and-- there was a chance of other debris in the... Read more

Power Control Board (Pcb Assembly)
Genuine Lg part
By: Lg
Part Number: EBR60969202

Restore reliable operation with this power control board assembly. It regulates and distributes incoming power to the appliance's circuits and components so the unit powers up consistently and runs as designed when the original board has failed.

  • Regulates and stabilizes power delivered to control and load circuits
  • Switches power to motors, heaters, fans, and other components via onboard relays
  • Provides low-voltage supply for control electronics
  • Typical failure symptoms: no power, unresponsive controls, intermittent shutdowns, repeated blown fuse, or visible board damage
What's included: One power control board assembly. Install notes:
  • Disconnect power before servicing; capacitors can retain a charge—allow time to discharge and use proper precautions
  • Handle the board by the edges and use ESD protection to avoid static damage
  • Photograph wiring and move connectors one at a time to the new board to maintain orientation
  • Inspect wiring, fuses, and downstream components for shorts before restoring power to protect the new board

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Oven did not heat up to the proper temp   John M. • Hollister , CA • December 19, 2014

I put in a new oven control board. So instead of putting the temp knob 80 degrees higher than it should, I dont have to do that anymore. The best part is I get to make our gingerbread houses as gifts! Because of a great support staff that worked on sunday the two gals there know their stuff. Its nice to work with a nice and efficient co. Will be back when other stuff breaks down because when you fix one thing the other appliances get upset when they dont get any attention.
