My 1984 ge elwctric stove had two burners that were either turned off or no matter what the non off switch position on high Roger H. • Altadena , CA • January 23, 2016

(Actually I wouldn't have needed new burners but an earlier "repair guy" took 2 of my burners and never returned - and no one could find him!) It turned out the new burners fit...

Broiler heating element went out Mark H. • Water Valley , MS • March 16, 2015
I ordered a broiler element, watched the video and replaced the element when it arrived. I turned off the electrical breaker to the stove/oven. I then removed the oven door from the hinges and removed the 1/4" square head screws that secured the element in place,( the video showed phillip head screws ), removed the element wires from the old element. Replaced the element wires to the new element and reattached the element to the oven with the hex head screws. I then put the oven door back on...

I first tried to purchase the part directly from GE but they were not helpful at all. Remembering that I had purchased a transmission and other parts from appliance parts pros for my old Maytag washer before, I searched their easy-to-use parts catalog and there it was!!!! I asked for confirmation from Customer Service and after 2 says Research confirmed that it was the correct part. Replacing the element was quite simple following the very helpful diagrams on their website. Thank you so very...

Order part at appliancepartspros.com *( Heater and Thermal Assy. ) and with that I watch a video on how to repair my fridge. It took me about 15 minutes to replace the parts. I think it took me longer than that to watch the video itself because I want to make sure that I will do it right. Replacing a part is very easy, now after two weeks my refrigerator is running good so far !!!!

This igniter is used in gas dryers to ignite the burner flame that heats the air inside the drum. It includes an attached wire harness for easy electrical connection. Replace this igniter if your gas dryer runs but does not produce heat, or if the burner fails to light consistently.

Our Maytag gas dryer was not producing heat— specifically it was cycling off after initially lighting Timothy E. • Bellvue , CO • September 15, 2019
When I pulled out the dryer from the wall, I could see dust/lint had accumulated everywhere and the vent system was compromised. I vacuumed up the dust/lint accumulation outside and then inside the vent system. I then opened the lower cabinet to clean and check its condition. I removed the water steamer bottle and its sub-assembly and then the drum. After cleaning and inspecting components — both visually and with a multi-meter I determined the problem was the appliance doing what it was...
