Cheryl S Troy , MO October 17, 2014 Our electric stove burner would not heat up After putting off the repair for weeks, we finally found the appliancepartspro.com site. We used the live chat which helped in pin point our needed heating element part in just a couple minutes. We ordered right then, in the afternoon. Amazingly, by the next afternoon the part arrived at our home. Couldn't believe it! The next day my 15 year old son watched a you-tube video, then did the repair himself. Great experience all around. Ian J Westminster , MD September 20, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Electric Range RF361PXKQ0 Three burned out surface elements Identified, discussed part selection with ApplicancePartPros phone rep, ordered, and received the burner elements. Installation of the two small elements was uneventful with all fittings as expected. However the large burner element of the replacement unit had a male electrical connector tab that was too large for the female connector attached to the stove wiring. After purchase of a packet of female connectors, i snipped off the old female connector head attached to the stove wire, leaving only the cylindrical portion attached to the wire. The new larger connector slipped over it and crimped on in a straightforward fashion. Another connector broke off during removal from the burned out unit, but a similar procedure fitted a new female connector over the remaining cylindrical stub. Fitting the two female connectors over the old cylindrical stubs avoided having to cut and strip (and in one case, re-twine) wires that were already quite short. For others pursuing repair of this unit, the cooktop part does *not* contain any burner elements--so ordering the cooktop would still require ordering the individual burner units. The AppliancePartsPros phone rep saved me from making that ordering mistake.
