Part Number: 0CZZJB2014G
This capacitor stores and releases electrical energy to support the appliance's circuit during startup and operation. Replacing a weakened capacitor can restore reliable performance and reduce humming, hard starting, or stalling in the affected component.
- Provides a power boost at startup and helps stabilize voltage during operation
- Helps the connected component start promptly and operate smoothly under load
- Common failure signs include humming, slow or no start, or intermittent operation
- Contribute to overheating or a tripped breaker/fuse when the component tries to start
What's included: One capacitor. Install notes:
- Disconnect power at the breaker or unplug the appliance. Before handling, safely discharge the old capacitor using a proper resistor-rated tool.
- Photograph or note wire positions; move each lead to the same-labeled terminal on the new capacitor and ensure snug connections.
- Mount the capacitor securely in its bracket; keep terminals covered and clear of metal surfaces.

Loud clicking from the back of my refrigerator Randy W. • Granbury , TX • March 04, 2015
Research question lead to others that had the same issue. Consensus lead to a common repair. Compressor overload switch going bad. After ordering the correct parts, I changed out both the switch and the motor start capacitor just in case. After cleaning the equipment, I then put everything back together. Results were, clicking gone, seems to be quieter operation because of cleaning, more efficient cooling and nerves calmed.

Part Number: 216954222
This controller is the appliance's electronic control board. It monitors sensors and manages cooling system operations so temperatures stay stable. Replacing a failed board can restore consistent cooling performance and responsive controls.
- Manages compressor and fan run times to maintain the set temperature; failures can cause warm temps, overcooling, or short cycling
- Coordinates automatic defrost on applicable models; faults may lead to frost buildup and restricted airflow
- Processes input from temperature sensors and user settings; issues can make controls unresponsive or erratic
- Drives status lights/alarms on applicable models; malfunctions may trigger false alarms or no indications
What's included: 1 electronic control board Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing
- Use ESD protection; handle the board by the edges to avoid component damage
- Photograph wiring and move connectors one at a time to the new board to ensure correct placement
- Reuse original mounting hardware and ensure all connections are fully seated before restoring power

Bad start relay David S. • Knoxville , TN • July 12, 2015
Wake up the morning after a big fourth-of-July cookout to find the refrigerator is running, but not cooling any more. Wife is mad, food is spoiling, and the kitchen is littered with every cooler in the house. No repair person can come by to look at the refrigerator for at least five days. I narrow down the problem to the start relay and I was able to find the exact part on AppliancePartsPros.
With two-day shipping, I get the part fast, and the kit came with everything I need (and then...

20 year old Whirlpool dryer would stop mid cycle. Jonathan S. • Alexandria , VA • August 29, 2020
I don't have a multimeter so couldn't check all voltages or resistances on suspect parts. I assumed it had to be the two thermostat units - the thermostat or the dryer cycling thermostat. These were not expensive parts so ordered both and installed both. Very easy to remove back panel and replace with the new parts, making sure the OEM numbers were the same. Put back panel on, plugged back in and it fired right up - time will tell if these were the culprits. Not much left electronics wise on...

Part Number: WPW10419068
This temperature sensor mounts on the sealed-system gas inlet line in compatible refrigerators. It relays precise temperature feedback to the control so cooling and defrost cycles are managed correctly, helping maintain stable compartment temperatures. What it does:
- Senses temperature at the gas-inlet line; resistance changes are read by the control
- Helps regulate compressor, fan, and valve operation for proper cooling performance
- A failed sensor may cause erratic temperatures or extended run times
- Can correlate with control thermistor error codes or frost/ice patterns near the evaporator
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing
- Note original sensor placement and insulation; reinstall in the same location and orientation
- Attach the sensor firmly to the line and route the harness as originally, away from sharp, hot, or moving parts
- Do not open or puncture sealed-system tubing; if damage is suspected, stop.

This micro switch is a compact, snap-action electrical switch that sends an on/off signal when a lever, latch, or paddle is moved. Replacing a worn switch restores reliable detection and control response for the affected function.
- Converts mechanical movement into an electrical open/close signal to the control
- Commonly used for lever/paddle actuators, latches, or interlock detection within the appliance
- Safe symptom clues: no response when actuated, intermittent operation, or a function stuck on/off
- Physical clues: weak or absent "click" when pressed, heat discoloration or damage at terminals
What's included: 1 micro switch
- Disconnect power before servicing; if the product is connected to a water line, close the supply valve
- Note wire positions and terminal labels (COM/NO/NC); transfer wires one at a time to matching terminals
- Match the actuator orientation and mounting position to the original for proper operation
- After installation, verify continuity with a multimeter and test function before reassembly

My dryer wasn't heating Jesus V. • Kissimmee , FL • March 27, 2017
PLEASE UNPLUG DRYER FIRST. This was my first attempt at trying to fix my dryer (Maytag SDE515DAYW). Order the element kit Part Number AP4046564. The installation was easier than I thought. Just removed the two front panels and I was able to reach the back of the dryer, under the drum (this is where the heat element was located), disconnected the wires (took pictures first) and removed the two screws that held the heat element. Pulled the part down and it just slid off. Connected all the wires...
