I ordered a replacement glass from Appliance Part Pros on Friday evening and it was delivered on Monday morning. It was packed well and I appreciated the quick delivery. I watched the Appliance Part Pros video and it was not helpful because it was for a different door but it did have some useful advice. Replaced upper and lower thimble's, lever arm, cam closure. Door stop was not the problem, but ordered it and replaced it too. The door of course has to come off, remove the top hinge, and lift it away. Lubricated moving parts with silicone spray. Be sure and put the door back in the open position, so the lever arm and cam closure can properly interact, then close the door. Remove the plastic grate at the bottom to get at the lever arm. Presto. Problem gone. Don't put excessive weight... Read more

I did not have the model number of the refrigerator! I looked everywhere, but I think it had been ripped off. This left me with the difficult task of trying to look through pictures of dairy doors and freezer shelves, armed with only the approximate dimensions of the pieces. I checked the the Q 'n' A sections for several parts and this helped immensely. The right door on our Jenn Air French Door Refrigerator would pop open & not fully close when the left door was closed first. Called the local distributor/dealer who advised me that the magnetic door gasket probably needed replacement (cost $300.00 + for the repair) What??? Ordered both hinge levers, left and right. (door overextended when someone tripped and fell on the door). Ordered on Friday am, got it Monday am with standard shipping. Careful placement of new screws into the inside of the outer door that now hold the frame assembly to the door secured the frame assembly to the outer door. All of the other parts I bought and replaced were a waste of money. I figured since I had them I might as well install them anyways. Replaced both sets of door cams on my Kenmore Elite Refrigerator. The most important thing to know is that you DO NOT have to remove the doors from the refrigerator to replace BOTH sets of cams. You just have to remove the lower grill which is a snap fit (I also turned off the water and unplugged the unit). My fridge has an ice and water dispenser where the water and electrical lines go through the cams on the left side. Be sure to order the correct parts as the cam holes on the freezer side... Read more
