Took off the the front panel. First removed the knobs, then the four screws above each knob stem. With oven door open removed four screws under the front door oven panel. Last removed the two side screws on the oven control. Keeping hold of the front unit. Then removed the pigtail attached to the panel and the ground screw. Now the unit is detached. Originally, I was told by Appliance Parts technician that the control board needed replacing. I ordered a new board and replaced it. No change. Called another AP technician and he said it is the panel control board which is the keypad that needed replacing and promptly provided me a return authorization number to return the control board. I replaced the panel control board (key pad) and all is working once again. I probably saved $600 by doing it myself. Read more

Remove the 4 top star-head screws on the back side of door and loosen the next 2 lower screws on both sides of door about half way (loosening lower screws allows for easier access when installing new control panel) 2.) It was very easy. First, researched the problem online and found a great video on YouTube which clearly showed the same problems we were having. Went to AppliancePartsPros.com and ordered the new Front Control Panel for about $230 along with a new oven door gasket for about $20 (YouTube video talks about how heat escapes quite easily and it is best to replace the gasket often). My 15 year old son and I examined the new parts and made a plan for how we were going to take the front off of the oven. Turns out it was fairly simple. We removed the knobs, the knob shrouds, two philip screws on the side of the head and about 6, 6mm hex sheet screws. Voila! It came apart. We carefully looked at how the old parts were assembled and simply reversed the assembly with the new parts. Got on your web site, put in the model number and bingo a list of common problems was displayed. Clicked on the start button problem link and up came the suggested part. Your web site said that you had the part that I needed so next I clicked on the video that demonstrated how to replace the part. Ordered the part and selected next day air delivery. Based on feedback found on the internet, I knew it was either the control panel or control board. Ordered both and it turns out I only needed to replace the control panel. Really easy fix. Turned off the power, unscrewed the top 6 screws to open up the control panel. Removed the cover and disconnected the ribbon cable.
