Detergent Tray Parts

Got online and searched for part by washer model number. Found AppliancePartsPro.com. They listed diagram of part. I ordered it online and received it next day with no extra charge for fast delivery. Appeared to be two problems: the latch was worn and one of the pins that slid in a guide on the actuator located in the inner panel had broke off. Detergent lid spring and pin appeared to be OK but decided to replace since I was aready working on it. I ordered all the inner panel mechanism from the control arm to the latch actuator on the inner panel. The repair was successful as the detergent dispenser now opens during its cycle. Read more

Replaced tray, The only difficulty was connecting the drain hose to the bottom of the tray. Difficult to get hand on the hose. Read more

Upon delivery of a new GE walloven/microwave combo I found that the micro glass dish, rotating ring and the lower trim were missing. When received it was not boxed which the driver said was odd. After going back to the purchase store they could not find them but would order them for me. My appliance is a Kenmore, and even though the video mentioned lots of other brands, it showed the exact same problem I was having. My dispenser motor just spun and spun, never stopping at the various positions it was apparently supposed to. Then it would trip the F30 code. The part description again mentioned these other brands but did say in fine print it fits some Kenmore products. Had to buy a new draw handle and detergent draw..they attach together by two plastic tabs that take a lot of stress each time you open it..unfortunately had to buy both to fix the problem.. Read more

One of the suspension rods was not working so I replaced the bad one and the other three . Tub has now leveled out and is spinning properly without making the noise.
