Face Frame Parts

Careful placement of new screws into the inside of the outer door that now hold the frame assembly to the door secured the frame assembly to the outer door. I lifted up the door and removed it. Next, I laid out newspaper on the floor. I placed the door on the newspaper upside down. With my socket driver, I removed the bottom door trim. I then used a pocket knife to remove the remaining glass in the top groove. I then slid in the new glass and reinstalled the trim. I ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. I received the part quickly; unscrewed the old door removed it and popped on the new door part and screwed it in. It took no more than 30 minutes to replace. I saved at least $300 dollars if I had to replace the whole microwave. Read more

3 screws on inside edge of door, then pried it off gently. Removed and cleaned the glass and put it in the new door frame. Put the new frame on the door. Read more

The door was very simple to change out. I removed the 2 screws on top of the microwave and pulled the piece above the door down and out. There are tabs on the bottom of this piece that hold it in place along with the screws on top. After this was out of the way, changing the door was as simple as lifting up on the door and when the top peg was clear lean it out slightly to get the bottom peg out. Read more
