E53 error code Susan R. • Beverly Hills , FL • March 03, 2017
After taking the top off the washer I found the Tech Data Sheet ( for repair person ) The E53 code was listed as Low Voltage to the motor board and referred me to test #15. Which stated to check the "drum water NTC" ( Negative Temperature Coefficient or Thermistor). What was misleading was that there are 2 NTC's. If your washer has a "Sanitize" feature , then there is a drum water NTC as well as one on the fill valve body. IF you have the sanitize feature then you need to replace the drum water...

Timer motor going out on my old amana washer Michael R. • Watsonville , CA • July 26, 2015
My mom loves her old Amana washer and AppliancePartsPros.com was the only place that had the part. Replacing the timer is an easy task but I had my repair guy put it in anyway. Some of the screws on the outside cover were so old we cut or used pliers to get them out. Washer is working great. Also ordered my part and got it the next day.

Error code "over fill" (flashing 'smart auto' and 'heavy' lights) cycle doesn't start in time for water to reach over fill sensor Patrick H. • Conyers , GA • May 19, 2015
Here's what the problem was:
Started the 'Normal' cycle... I closed the door... it calls for water, water fills, ECS sensor doesn't kick it to the next segment of the cycle (wash), so the water over-fills and reaches the over-fill sensor.
So many other are replacing the plastic 'case-brake,' main board, and the ECS sensor. I, however, was able to get by with just the ECS sensor replacement, which is known to be a faulty design by Samsung, supposedly.
The idea is replace the (1) most common...

E15 error code Ian C. • Detroit , MI • March 18, 2017
Stumbled upon Appliance Parts Pros web site and after some research bought 2 circuit boards. (UIB) Interface Board AP4501702 and ESEC Relay Board AP5780950. I carefully replaced the UIB board first and it solved the problem. Things like taking the door off can be found on the internet and took me far more time than actually replacing the board. I have never used APP before but understand that the other board is returnable. I am a very happy and future customer.

Zapping and popping noise from back of oven followed by smoke when preheating oven Steven R. • Naples , FL • January 23, 2016
Unplugged oven and removed back panel of oven, found schematics taped to back of oven. Found a relay board that was burned where upper heating element plug connected to it. Replaced relay board and then repaired burned connector by replacing the spade terminal ends that were melted. Suspect connection was loose and that caused board damage. The other board i replaced because some display segments had stopped working with oven temperature. Was difficult to see what temp the oven was. This was a...
