Broken fan switch Darrell Q. • Leesburg , VA • May 09, 2016
This replacement part looks nothing like the original because the original is two parts, the replacement is one part. The original has a switch with 3 wires coming out of it that go into a "block" screwed to the bottom tray. And this "block" has 2 wires that come out of it going to the fan. With the replacement, the block is eliminated and the 2 wires go directly to the switch. Easy install.

This main wire harness routes power and control signals between the appliance's control board and components to restore electrical connectivity and reliable operation. Replacing a damaged harness helps eliminate intermittent faults and lost functions. What it does:
Provides the primary electrical connections between the control board and motors, switches, sensors and valves Carries power and signal wiring so controls and components operate as intended Commonly replaces harnesses with broken, melted, or corroded wires or connectors Can resolve symptoms such as no power to components, intermittent operation, or unresponsive controls What's included: One main wire harness Install notes:
Disconnect power to the appliance before inspecting or replacing the harness Compare connector types and routing to the original harness; install in the same path to avoid chafing Secure connectors fully until they click; avoid pulling on individual wires If wiring or connectors show heat damage or corrosion beyond the harness, inspect associated components.

This micro switch detects door or lid position and tells the appliance when the door is closed so cycles can start or safety interlocks stay engaged. It restores reliable door sensing and helps prevent operation with the door open. What it does:
Acts as a position sensor that completes or breaks the control circuit when the door/lid is closed or opened Keeps the appliance from starting or continuing a cycle if the door is open (safety interlock) Common symptom fix: appliance won't start, stops mid-cycle, or shows door-related error codes Small electrical switch designed to mount at the door latch or frame and connect to the appliance wiring harness What's included: One micro switch Install notes:
Disconnect power (unplug or shut off breaker) before attempting service Access may require removing panels, trim, or the door latch assembly; keep track of screws and fasteners Observe wiring orientation and connector positions; replace exactly as removed or tag wires

This wire harness connects the control/switch assembly to the appliance's thermal cutoff and control circuits, restoring reliable electrical connections for proper operation. It's a direct-fit replacement when the original wiring is damaged or corroded. What it does:
Provides the factory routing and connectors between the control/switch and TCB/thermal cutoff Re-establishes lost or intermittent power caused by damaged wiring or broken terminals Helps stop failures that cause controls to be unresponsive or cycles to stop unexpectedly Uses OEM-style terminals and insulation to match original fit and function What's included:
One wire harness (switch TCB) as shown Install notes:
Disconnect power before starting — verify the appliance is completely de-energized Take photos of existing wire routing and connector locations to ensure correct reassembly Plug connectors fully and secure the harness along original clips or tie points; avoid sharp edges If terminals are damaged at mating parts, inspect and replace those components rather than splicing connectors
