This is an electronic display control board for a dishwasher, and it includes mounting screws. It manages the user interface display and communicates cycle selections to the main control board. Replace this board if the display is blank, unresponsive, shows error codes, or if buttons no longer register when pressed.

I replaced the control panel. I guess the problem could also have been the control board. I felt more certain about purchasing the control panel after removing the old one, and ohm-ing out pins that should have indicated small resistance when pressing front panel buttons, but all indicated open circuit. Ordered a new control panel and installed it; The repair is super easy and it would not take more than 10 minutes were I to do it again but because I had never done anything like this before I got stuck at one point and it took me a lot longer. Control panel touch pad for range hoods. Replaces cracked, worn, or broken touch pad surfaces. Installs on the front control panel housing switches.
1) Unscrewed the metal pieces behind the switch panel. You'll notice 3 screws. Afterwards, I realized that I just needed to remove the screws to the left and right of the switch box. The box then slides out. If you take out the third that connects the box to the wire cover, just remember to screw that back in before you replace the box. 2) To make sure I didn't place the wiring in the wrong place, I basically took the wiring out one by one and placing it into the new switch. 3) Place the new...
