Run Vent Push Button Switch Parts

I had one element that would operate wide open when turned on the low setting. It needed the switch replaced. Since I was replacing other elements I went ahead replaced them all, adding new drip pans and wiring kits to each new element. I changed out the oven temp probe located inside the oven, and I also changed out the temperature control which is located behind the oven temperature control knob. The whole process was simple, but it took a little bit of time since we repaired it ourselves and had to located these parts inside the oven. Read more

After the part arrives, I was double check to make sure I got the right part. Importantly, unplug the electrical power first before do anything, also turn off the water hose for safety. Then removed 4 screw out side panel and 2 screw in side to get lose. After all, replaced a new part and put all panel and screw back together. First of you need to remove front panel of the washer, using a putty knife push the tabs between the top of the machine and the front panel. Once front panel is exposed drain hose is connected to pump which is in the front of the machine,very easy to access with the front off. Remove old hose with pliers and discard ,run new hose thru outlet on the back of the machine and secure new hose to drain and secure hose to the machine, reinstall front panel of washer and that's it Read more

Replaced the switch took a total of about five minutes. I pulled the stove out and turned the breaker off so I only had to pull it out enough to get a 1/4 " nut driver in behind it. Removed three screws and the back cover came off. I pushed the switch threw from the back and switched over the two wires then reversed the process. I replaced the drain pump and hose which had a flapper valve that wasn’t sealing properly. Easy repair. Took about 15 minutes total and my washing machine is Soooo much quieter!!! Read more

Found replacing the switch to be doable, but it was quite a delicate operation. This was for a Thermador range with a broken downdraft switch. It required the removal of 5 small screws which could easily be fumbled and dropped down where it would be difficult, if not impossible to retrieve. Two of the screws were facing the back, so it was a blind operation to remove and replace the screws. Required an offset screwdriver, as space was tight.
