Replaced the drain valve. duh. here's the kicker...original problem was circulation pump was broken. Paid $350 to have it "professionally" fixed, and when we turned it on, it wouldn't run, so "professional tech" said "it must be the control panel". After reviewing a few blogs it was clear that Frigidaire is knows there is a problem. One of the blogs recommended AppliancePartsPros.com for a new pressure sensor switch and a water inlet valve. Ordered the part and it was shipped that day, as promised. Pulled the dishwasher out (which was the hardest part of the repair). Replaced igniter under each burner knob. Used needle nose pliers to remove the electrical connections (2) of the igniter then slipped it off the gas valve shaft. Replaced with new igniter (click in place) and replaced electrical connectors. Took about 15 minutes to complete. Read more

Changed inlet valve super easy on my whirlpool dishwasher took the front kick panel off turned off water and electricity the valve was right out front bottom left one small sheet metal screw held it on disconnected plug and 5/8 water line and hose with clamp for fill to tub just reverse for install of new valve Read more

The indications made me think the dishwasher was not shooting water. I checked the water valve with a voltmeter and it was getting power to open. I disconnected the line to make sure the water line was not plugged. Then I bypassed the door switch and ran the dishwasher with the door open and did not see the water filling which pointed to the inlet valve. I ordered the valve which came quickly.
