Broken fan switch Darrell Q. • Leesburg , VA • May 09, 2016
This replacement part looks nothing like the original because the original is two parts, the replacement is one part. The original has a switch with 3 wires coming out of it that go into a "block" screwed to the bottom tray. And this "block" has 2 wires that come out of it going to the fan. With the replacement, the block is eliminated and the 2 wires go directly to the switch. Easy install.

This Smart ATC temperature switch senses and helps regulate oven temperature for more consistent cooking. It replaces a failed switch to restore correct temperature feedback to the range control for accurate heating. What it does:
- Detects oven temperature and sends a signal to the control so heating elements cycle appropriately
- Helps correct issues where the oven runs too hot, too cold, or cycles erratically
- Works as part of the temperature control system—does not include the main control board
- Replaces a worn or failed temperature/A.T.C. sensor switch to restore proper temperature sensing
What's included:
- One temperature switch (Smart ATC)
Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any repair to avoid shock or injury
- Access typically requires removing the oven control panel or back panel; keep track of screws and wire connections
- Handle the switch and connector gently to avoid damage; verify wiring matches original before reconnecting

Lg refrigerator wound not start Steve S. • Peoria , AZ • May 28, 2016
For an emergency fix I installed a 3 in1 kit disabling the original start cap and wiring in the original run cap to the run winding.
Ordered the proper PTC and overload from Appliance Parts Pros and installed them 2 weeks later.
The original start and run capacitor were good, rewired back to design specs.
The original PTC had pins 1,2 and 3, the replacement had 2,3 and 4.
Only wiring change was to install the red wire from pin 1 on the original PTC to pin 4 on the new PTC.

This wire harness connects the control/switch assembly to the appliance's thermal cutoff and control circuits, restoring reliable electrical connections for proper operation. It's a direct-fit replacement when the original wiring is damaged or corroded. What it does:
- Provides the factory routing and connectors between the control/switch and TCB/thermal cutoff
- Re-establishes lost or intermittent power caused by damaged wiring or broken terminals
- Helps stop failures that cause controls to be unresponsive or cycles to stop unexpectedly
- Uses OEM-style terminals and insulation to match original fit and function
What's included:
- One wire harness (switch TCB) as shown
Install notes:
- Disconnect power before starting — verify the appliance is completely de-energized
- Take photos of existing wire routing and connector locations to ensure correct reassembly
- Plug connectors fully and secure the harness along original clips or tie points; avoid sharp edges
- If terminals are damaged at mating parts, inspect and replace those components rather than splicing connectors
