I ordered a new Panel/Facia and bought replacement buttons just to be safe. All were pretty easy, but two things to BE CAREFUL about that are important. First, watch the videos about how to remove and replace the facia panel because if you do it improperly you will easily break the plastic tabs and be screwed. Ordered a new Oven Control unit and an Overlay (ours was punctured in a few places -- old and brittle). Opened the stovetop and removed some screws from the front control panel area. Followed the advice from Appliance Parts Pros' video to take a photo of the locations of all the connections on the old panel before removal -- that was an instrumental step to the success of this project! I completed all the tasks that I could without having to disconnect the refrigerator since it was full of food. On-line chat with AppliancePartsPros told me the error code was was for motor speed and they sent me a .pdf file on what to do to T/S it. Following the sheet I checked motor and Tack resistance and wiring - all OK, so I ordered a Motor Controller Ckt board assy. It arrived in 24 hours, during that time i watched the replacement videos and removed the old part. Andrew helped me trouble shoot the problem. First I replaced the elments but that did not fix the problem. When I spoke with Andrew he told me how to test the OHMS on the new and old element and they were both readying 26 OHMS. I then replaced the control panel for the clock and oven controls. Well the bake button worked so we kept using that and only using the oven on 350 degrees for almost a year. All of the repairs were incredibly easy, however the experience might be different for everyone. My skills and background experience make troubleshooting and repairing fairly easy for me. Ordered the part on line, rec. in record time, open the front panel of the dishwasher, unplugged the cable, replaced with new one by plugging into the connector. Help was needed only to hold the panels for lining up the screw hols, and secure couple screws on either side. Max. 15 minutes, from the time of opening the package. Suggest that owners of similar refrigerators move the compartment one notch down on the door so when the compartment door is left open and the refrigerator door is closed the comp. door does not come into contact with the refrig. interior light housing.
