At first I had thought that the child lock was engaged, but due to a couple searches on online found that the control panel's buttons had most likely shorted out. My wife appreciated the speedy delivery and I was quite pleased to find out the repair was so easy and saved us a lot in repair fees! Stephen S Ingleside , IL November 14, 2014 Appliance: KitchenAid Dishwasher KUDS25SHBS1 The unit would not start in any mode a noise would be made a short period then nothing I actually did not do much work. After receiving the control board I set was set to uninstall the old board but exercised the closing latch first and it appears there is a connection between it and the control board. Perhaps some contact corrosion but the dish washer is operational. I will give it a few more days before I return the board.
