This is a Whirlpool range control board. It manages and monitors temperatures for the range and features a digital display and user interface buttons. The control board can short out due to power surge or exposure to excessive heat. For example, if the oven's self clean function is run too long or too frequently, parts of the control board could melt or otherwise malfunction. Before installing this part, be sure to cut power to the appliance and allow it to cool completely. The stove may need to be pulled away from the wall to access the screws holding the control panel in place. Remove the screws from each side of the control panel to gain access to the old control board. Disconnect any wire harnesses connected to it and remove any screws mounting it in place before installing the new part. This is a genuine OEM part compatible with ranges manufactured by Whirlpool brands, including Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and others. This product is just the panel and contains no additional parts or hardware.

The oven wasn't lighting up gas Michael K. • Eastlake , OH • April 11, 2025
I replaced the Oven Igniter. After ensuring that it was the igniter, by turning on the stove and taking out the oven bottom. Watch if it turns red. If not, then either the wiring is faulty, or the igniter went bad. The bulb was due to a loose and broken light bulb, can't use any normal bulb, these ones are specially made to withstand the heat. And the oven bottom was warped due repeatedly heating up and cooling down over the years. It took a fair bit of time to get the new one in, since it was...

Control board had no power and i wasn't able to control the oven Virginia A. • Olympia , WA • September 30, 2014
My husband turned the oven to cook one night and there was a loud pop noise. After that there was no power getting to the control board and thus leaving my oven useless
I watched the very easy to follow video posted on here associated with my part and I felt confident I would be able to make this repair on my own. I bought the control board as well as the new overlay (mainly cause I didn't want to try and peel off the old overlay and reuse it) the total time for my repair was less than 15...
